PUBLIC NOTICE – PROPOSED NEW OR INCREASED TAXES AND FEES
In compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 9-499.15, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Huachuca City may consider proposed new or increased taxes and/or fees in connection with the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget.
The Town Council will hold public work sessions beginning at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and a public hearing on July 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at Huachuca City Town Hall, 500 N. Gonzales Blvd., Huachuca City, Arizona 85616, to discuss the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget, including the proposed property tax levy and potential adjustments to user fees and charges.
User fees and service charges support the Water and Wastewater utilities. Potential rate modifications for these services may be discussed as part of the budget development process; however, any changes to water or wastewater rates would require separate consideration and approval by the Mayor and Town Council at a public meeting.
Copies of the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Tentative Budget will be available for public inspection at Huachuca City Hall, 500 N. Gonzales Blvd., Huachuca City, Arizona 85616, after June 30, 2026.
