Town Plans for a Phased Reopening

The Town of Huachuca City has begun a phased reopening of town facilities in accordance with guidance from Governor Ducey’s office, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS). Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The Town of Huachuca City is expected to receive approximately $480,000 in FY 2020 federal CDBG funds. A hearing will be held at the regular Town Council meeting on May 14, 2020, at 7:00 pm, to receive public comment and discuss the potential CDBG projects. COVID-19 Proclamation 2020-03

Mayor Wallace, in accordance with Governor Ducey’s amended Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected order, has issued COVID-19 Proclamation 2020-03 which directs staff to begin the process of a phased reopening of the Town’s facilities and public amenities. The Emergency Food Assistance Program

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona will be making TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) distributions in front of the Senior Center at 504 N. Gonzales Blvd on Friday, April 17, from 8 am to 9 am. It will be a drive-thru food distribution.  Cars should line up on Gonzales Blvd facing south.
