The Town of Huachuca City is accepting applications from Town residents interested in being appointed to fill the remaining term of a vacant Town Council position. The Mayor and Council will make the appointment after reviewing the applications submitted.
Pursuant to A.R.S. 9-235, the Council may appoint an individual who is eligible for election to the office of Town Council. To be eligible, the applicant must be a registered voter, must be a resident of Huachuca City, must be at least 18 years old and have resided within Town limits for the last 12 months.
Application are due by October 31st, 2019, and are available here. Applications may also be picked up at Town Hall or requested by emailing Janine Collins at jcollins@huachucacityaz.gov. Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted by the Council prior to making the appointment to fill the position.
