The Census is coming! The Town of Huachuca City is looking for volunteers to serve on the Huachuca City Complete Count Committee. The census is very important to our community and to our county. The Census results shape how billions of federal dollars every year are allocated to states and counties for Medicare, SNAP (food stamps), highway construction, and more. The Census is also key to delineating voting districts and how congressional districts are apportioned. We need every resident to be counted! If you are interested in helping, please contact Suzanne Harvey at 520-456-1063. There will be Complete Count training for volunteers throughout the county in Sierra Vista on Oct 24. Be Counted! Visit 2020census.gov to learn more.
