Notice of Intent to Increase Rates and Fees for Water and Wastewater Services

NOTICE OF INTENT TO INCREASE RATES AND FEES FOR WATER AND WASTEWATER SERVICES

Pursuant to A.R.S. 9-511.01, notice is hereby given that the Town of Huachuca City is proposing to increase its water and wastewater service rates, fees and charges. The Town Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding the proposed rate and fee increases on February 14, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., at Town Hall located at 500 N. Gonzales Blvd, Huachuca City, Arizona.  After the hearing, the Council may consider and approve a resolution or ordinance adopting the proposed new rates and fees. The specific increase proposals and report are available for public review at Town Hall and on the Town’s website: www.huachucacityaz.gov

Holiday Baskets for The Needy

HOLIDAY BASKET PROGRAM –  The town is collecting donations for our Holiday Basket program to help the needy during the holiday season.  Toys, money, or holiday food items like pies, boxed stuffing, gravy, etc. are needed.  Donations may be dropped off at town hall or the library.  Your donations will help make someone’s holiday a little brighter!  Applications for the baskets are available at the library.  They must be turned by Thu, Dec 13th at 5:00 pm.  Approval will be based on need and priority will be given to families with children.  For more information contact Suzanne Harvey, 520-456-1063, or Jennifer Fuller 520-456-1354.

$5,000 Reward in Arson Case

$5,000 REWARD – Authorities are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest & conviction of the person(s) responsible for the fire that destroyed the Huachuca United Methodist Church on October 18, 2018.

Anyone with information on the fire should call the Huachuca City Police Department @ (520-456-1353) or the ATF 24/7 toll-free hotline at 888-ATF-TIPS (1-888-283-8477), email ATFTips@atf.gov, or contact ATF through its website at www.atf.gov/contact/atftips.
