Primary Election – August 28, 2018 – Write-in Candidates

Write-in candidates are allowed at both the primary and general elections for the Town of Huachuca City. Any person wishing to become a write-in candidate for the Primary Election needs to file a Nomination Paper and Financial Disclosure Statement by 5:00 p.m., July 19, 2018, at the Huachuca City Town Clerk’s Office, 500 N. Celebrate Independence Day with Us!

Huachuca City will be hold their annual 4th of July celebration from 3:00 pm until dark at Leffingwell Park (next to the library). Join us for music, food, and family fun. The pool will be open from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm that day with free admission. The celebration will conclude with a 15-20 minute fireworks display. Road Closures Planned for 4th of July

In conjunction with the town-wide Independence Day Celebration on July 4th, the Huachuca City Police Department has announced the following road closures: Gila Street from School Drive to Skyline Drive, and Skyline Drive from Gonzales Blvd to Edgewood Street. The roads will be closed on July 4th from 1:00 pm until the conclusion of fireworks–approximately 9:30 p.m. Press release with map showing the road closures is here: road closure press release

Prescribed Burn at Keeline Park Area, June 27th – June 28th, 2018

All residents please be advised there will be a prescribed burn in the Keeline Park area on Wed, June 27th and Thu, June 28th. The objective of this prescribed burn is to reduce hazardous fuel accumulation for the purpose of public safety and to reduce the potential of a fire during the fireworks display on July 4th. Burning may continue periodically through the weekend as weather and fuel conditions permit. For more information to include a map of the burn area, please see the attached public notice. Beat the Heat @ the Huachuca City Pool


The Huachuca City Pool is open for business!  Pool hours are:  Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Effective July 5th, daily admission is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children (age 4 to 18).  Children under the age of 4 are free.  Daily admission is paid at the pool unless you are paying by credit or debit card in which case you must pay at Town Hall. Season passes may be purchased at at Town Hall.  Season pass for children is $20.00.  Season pass for adults is $50.00.  The pool is also available for rental!  Call Town Hall at 456-1354,  or the Huachuca City Public Library at 456-1063 for more details.
